Someone asked me something about my email 2 days ago.

"Why on earth did you invest over $100k in coaching programs?"

Let me answer…

It’s because I'm not dumb.

If I had a net loss over and over, I probably would have stopped.

Many of the coaches, I didn't get back anything tangible.

But my first mentor?

I invested $12k and got back $25k.

Not bad.

But even for the ones where I didn’t get my ROI, I got learning out of it.

Even when they were assholes.

Even when I didn't get what I paid for.

The reality is I never would have gotten to where I am without the sacrifices I made.

Financially.

Chronologically.

Emotionally.

I’m too stubborn…too egotistical…and too average as a human to be able to get far on my own.

I remembered on the 4th year of my (failed) gym business.

I lost the company $87k on an extremely stupid decision.

A decision that was clearly stupid on hindsight, but wasn’t quite so at the time.
