My comprehensive review of Uncle Roger’s fried rice.

Yesterday, me and a bunch of marketers went to Uncle Roger’s restaurant.

I thought that since its been a week and we’re going at an odd hour, we wouldn’t have to wait in line.

🤦🏻‍♂️

I was wrong.

One of the group was a total G for arriving early and stood in line half an hour before the rest arrived.

Then, as a group we had to stand in line for another hour.

That’s a total of 1.5 hours!

I waited anyway because honestly, I fascinated by Uncle Roger’s success.

Once in, we ordered as much of the whole menu as we could.

Our order was slow to arrive, as was expected.

First came ‘Mala Okra Fries’.

Basically, it’s tempura made with okra, with added powdered mala seasoning.

Greasy. Crispy.

Probably nice as a beer snack.

Too bad they don’t serve beer.

Then, came the ‘Wok Hei White Corn’

I can see why it’s famous.

Looks great. Smells smokey.

Nice.
